Cost to rehabilitate a Victorian home in Oakland

Looking for an interesting and profitable project, Robert and his brother purchased an old Victorian home in Oakland. They planned to live in it themselves, sell it, or rent it out once the rehab was complete. The brothers knew that with the right project management, design, and construction work, their new home would be ideal for any path they chose.

The home included four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and the remodel extended beyond surface detail to include foundation work, roofing, plumbing, and electrical work.

At the time of the project, the total construction fees came to $172,403 to bring this beautiful Victorian to its full potential. In 2020, construction for this project would cost $200,000. You can see the budget here:
