Over 35 years of experience in construction
As Vice President of Construction, Dave relies on his 35 years in the construction industry to lead the build side of New Avenue, Inc. With an understanding that construction can be somewhat intimidating, and even overwhelming for many homeowners, Dave works alongside the design team to help guide New Avenue's customers through the process using clear communication, thoughtful problem solving, and expert project administration. From the initial consultation through move-in day, Dave is equipped to make the construction process as smooth, transparent, and accessible as possible.
Dave has worked at a venture-backed pre-fab ADU startup, remodeled and built hundreds of homes under his own business and general contractor’s license for 25 years. He has expertise in ground up custom homes to cabinetry and even ran his own cabinet shop. He has experience with old-school to the most modern methods of building and has completed all ranges and types of traditional and modern buildings.
Dave is a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area and a native of the Lamorinda. He holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and Philosophy from St. Mary's College of California, where he worked his way through school as a carpenter and all-around tradesman. One of the smartest things he may have ever done is marry a woman from the best-designed city in the USA, Buffalo, NY.
