New Avenue’s ADUs and Custom Homes are a Walker’s Paradise

A Walkscore rates the walkability of any address on a scale of 0-100. Locations receiving a score of 90-100 are deemed a “Walker’s Paradise”. Detailed ranking methodology and a complete list of ranked cities and their neighborhoods can be found at http://walk.sc/2014ranking. We plugged in a few of our projects and we were not too surprised to see that our homes were either very walkable or a Walker’s Paradise. A major part of our company’s philosophy is to encourage good land use practices. For example, many of our projects are accessory dwellings, an important form of infill housing that help mitigate suburban sprawl. We’re happy that our homes are helping the environment and community in other ways, as our clients with high Walkscores minimize the use of their cars and instead take advantage of walkable neighborhoods and excellent public transportation.
